14 Weeks

Sorry, it's been a while since my last post. Things are progressing normally. I am 14 weeks along and am still sick 5 mornings a week, but it usually goes away after that. My appetite is scary. I don't fit into many of my "regular" clothes especially not pants. I had no idea maternity clothes were so expensive! I have been lucky enogh to find a few second hand stores with some decent items. The other day I held my first baby since I've been pregnant. It was strange, to know that in 6 short months I will have one of my own!

We have to move soon, as we live in a 1 bedroom apartment right now. Expected date to move is August 1, 2006. I am a little sad as I love my place, but I am excited to have a yard and to start preparing a nursury. My next doctor's apointment is a week from today, at which point I will set up a meeting with an OBGYN. Then, July 21st we get to see the baby for the first time via ultrasound! I have decided to find out the baby's sex for two reasons. One is, it makes preparing a little easier, and two, I just can't wait!

Baby Beat

Today at the doctor, we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time! It was increadible. I think Donnie finally realizes I AM pregnant lol. He said, hang in there, little buddy! It was pretty cute. I thought it was beating too fast, but doc says it was normal. Also, she said she thinks there is only one, thank goodness (twins run in Donnie's family)! I am still sick, missing too much work, but overall, I believe there is a light at the end of the tunnell!
